Viking Cave is on Phi Phi Leh island. The King of Thailand once visited this place and named it ‘Naga Cave’. The cave is perhaps one of the most visited sites in the area. It has everything to offer a visitor: beauty, history, relaxation and adventure. It is famous for ancient wall drawings and bird’s nest collection.

At the altitude of 186 m. above sea-level, stands an observatory site from which you can admire the picturesque views of Ton Sai bay and Loh Dalum bay.  Walking up the hill can be rather tiring, but it is really worth the effort.

Climbing Phi Phi Don island covers a lot of areas of hills and cliffs that have challenged so many mountaineers from all parts of the world. You will definitely find mountaineering one of the most adventurous activities on the island.

Diving Diving is the greatest highlight of Phi Phi island. There are so many attractive diving sites with water not deeper than 30 m. and the currents not too fast, which are suitable for novice divers.  The island’s underwater is abundant with exotic and colorful coral reefs, stone piles and marine lives such as lion fish, clownfish, hawkbill sea turtles, leopard sharks, stingrays and tuna.

Diving Season You can go diving around Phi Phi island all year round, but the best period is during the month of May because the water is crystal clear and the temperature is only around 30oC. To make sure that you come at the right time, always make inquiries at any diving sale counters.

Phi Phi island diving sites

Phi Phi Leh island  The water is 5-30 m. deep which is suitable for scuba diving and snorkeling. The underwater attractions include corals, sea fans and seaflowers  

Bida Nok island and Bida Nai island  The water is 10-30 m. deep.  The underwater highlights are stonewalls, schools of fish, including sharks.

Shark point  A site with a stone tip emerging from water and a lighthouse on the rocks.  The water is 5-28 m. deep. Varieties of fish including sharks (as the name suggests) can be seen here.

King Cruiser Wreck  A site where a car ferry by the name King Cruiser sank while in operation between Phuket and Phi Phi islands in 1997.  The water is 14-32 m. deep. Divers can admire the King Cruiser Wreck and exotic and colorful fish such as tuna, grouper and yellowtail.

Banboo island and Yung island   Ideal sites for snorkeling. Novice divers will love these sites. During diving session you will be marveled by thousands of surrounding tiny fish.

ถ้ำไวกิ้ง

ตั้งอยู่บนเกาะพีพีเล ภายในถ้ำเต็มไปด้วยหินงอกหินย้อย และภาพเขียนโบราณที่มีอายุกว่าร้อยปี มากมายนับสิบๆ ภาพ และในหลวงของเรายังเลยเสด็จประพาสและทรงพระราชทานนามให้ว่า "ถ้ำพญานาค"

จุดชมวิว (View Point) 

ไม่ควรพลาดด้วยประการทั้งปวงกับการขึ้นไปที่จุดชมวิว ที่มีความสูงจากระดับน้ำทะเล 186 เมตร แต่ต้องฟิตร่างกายกันมาสักหน่อยเพราะต้องเดินขึ้นเขากันสักอึดใจใหญ่ๆ แนะนำว่าให้เดินเรื่อยๆ   เมื่อขึ้นมาถึงจุดชมวิว จะมองเห็นความเว้าโค้งของอ่าวต้นไทรและอ่าวโละดาลัม แม้จะเหนื่อยสักหน่อยแต่รับรองว่าคุ้มค่าหายเหนื่อยไปกับวิวที่จะได้เห็นอย่างแน่นอน

ปีนเขา อีกกิจกรรมยอดฮิตของเกาะพีพีดอน ด้วยลักษณะของเกาะมีหน้าผาที่เหมาะกับการปีนอยู่มาก ทางด้านเหนือของเกาะ ถือว่ามีชื่อเสียงระดับโลกเลย เพราะนักปีนเขาจากทั่วโลกก็เคยมาปีนที่นี่แล้วทั้งนั้น แล้วเราคนไทยจะพลาดได้อย่างไร จริงไหม

ดำน้ำ

เป็นไฮไลท์ของทุกกิจกรรมเลยก็ว่าได้ เกาะพีพี มีชื่อเสียงกับแหล่งดำน้ำมากที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งของประเทศไทย  โลกใต้น้ำมีความสวยงามมาก มีแนวปะการังที่สมบูรณ์สวยงาม กองหิน แนวกำแพงหิน แนวปะการังลาดเอียง รวมถึงปลาชนิดต่างๆ เช่น ปลาสิงโต ปลาการ์ตูน ปลาหิน เต่ากระ ฉลามดาว ปลากระเบน ปลาทูน่า จุดดำน้ำน่าสนใจก็มีอยู่หลายแห่ง ระดับน้ำไม่ลึกมากประมาณไม่เกิน 30 เมตร กระแสน้ำไม่เชี่ยวมาก เหมาะกับนักดำน้ำมือใหม่

ฤดูดำน้ำ

เกาะพีพีเป็นเกาะที่สามารถมาดำน้ำกันได้ตลอดทั้งปี แต่ถ้าจะให้ดีแนะนำให้มาช่วงเดือนพฤษภาคมเพราะน้ำจะใส และไม่เย็นมากประมาณ 30 องศา ลองสอบถามการมาดำน้ำที่เกาะพีพีได้ตามเค้าเตอร์ทัวร์ดำน้ำต่างๆ

จุดดำน้ำเกาะพีพี

เกาะพีพีเลทั้ง 3 อ่าว ได้ทั้งการดำน้ำลึกและน้ำตื้น ตั้งแต่ระดับ 5-30 เมตร พบปะการัง ดอกไม้ทะเล กัลปังหา

เกาะบิด๊ะนอก เกาะบิด๊ะใน ระดับน้ำ 10-30 เมตร พบกับกำแพงหินใต้น้ำ ฝูงปลานานาชนิด รวมถึงฉลามด้วย

Shark point จุดดำน้ำที่มียอดหินที่โผล่ขึ้นมาและมีประภาคารอยู่บนโขดหิน จะพบปลาหลายชนิดแน่นอนว่า จะได้เจอกับปลาฉลามด้วยตามชื่อของจุดดำน้ำ ความลึกโดยเฉลี่ยอยู่ที่ 5-28 เมตร

เรือจมคิงครุยเซอร์ (King Cruiser) จุดดำน้ำที่มีชื่อเสียงอีกจุดที่ความลึกตั้งแต่ 14-32 เมตร เป็นเรือที่จมลงระหว่างทางภูเก็ตมาเกาะพีพี ในปี 2540 พบฝูงปลามากมายหลายชนิด ปลาทูน่า และปลากะรัง หรือปลา ปลากะพงหางเหลือง และชมเรือที่ตอนนี้เริ่มผุกร่อนจนเห็นด้านในของตัวเรือ

เกาะไม้ไผ่และเกาะยูง เหมาะกับการดำน้ำตื้น และผู้ที่เริ่มหัดดำน้ำ จะพบกับฝูงปลาตัวเล็กๆ เป็นหมื่นๆตัวอยู่รายรอบตัวเรา

เกาะและอ่าวต่างๆ

พีพีดอน เป็นเกาะที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในหมู่เกาะพีพี  เป็นเหมือนศูนย์กลางของหมู่เกาะพีพี เป็นทั้งท่าเรือ มีที่พักหลายแห่ง ร้านค้า ร้านอาหาร สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน มีชายหาดสวยงาม และอ่าวที่โค้งเว้าอยู่หลายแห่งเช่น อ่าวต้นไทรกับอ่าวโละดามลัม ที่มีความสวยงามและมีชื่อเสียงในหมู่นักท่องเที่ยว

แหลมตง

เป็นส่วนเหนือสุดของพีพีดอน มีความสวยงาม และเป็นที่ตั้งชุมชนเล็กๆ ของชาวบ้าน ชาวประมง ที่อพยพมาจากเกาะหลีเป๊ะ ถือว่าเป็นชาวเกาะกลุ่มแรกๆ ของเกาะพีพีเลยก็ว่าได้ หมู่บ้านไม่ได้มีความทันสมัยมากนัก ชาวบ้านจะปลูกกระต๊อบหลังเล็กๆ และมีภาษาของตัวเองด้วย

อ่าวโละบาเกา

อ่าวโละบาเกา

ชายหาดขาวละเอียดยาวประมาณ 500 เมตร เป็นชายหาดที่สวยที่สุดเลยก็ว่าได้ มีทิวต้นมะพร้าวทำให้ร่มรื่นอยู่บ้าง มีรีสอร์ทไม่มากนักบริเวณนี้จึงสงบไม่มีผู้คนพลุกพล่านจึงเหมาะกับผู้ที่ต้องการมาพักผ่อนอย่างแท้จริง หน้าชายหาดจะเป็นที่ตั้งของ Phi Phi Island Village & Spa รีสอร์ทเดียวเท่านั้น ส่วนรีสอร์ทอื่นๆ จะเป็นรีสอร์ทเล็กๆ อยู่ลึกเข้าไปด้านใน 

หาดผักหนาม

เป็นชายหาดเล็กๆ ต่อจากอ่าวโละบาเกาที่ยาวเพียง 300 เมตร

อ่าวรันตี

อ่าวรันตี

อ่าวทางฝั่งตะวันออกของเกาะพีพี  ถือว่าเป็นอีกจุดสำหรับการดำน้ำตื้นชมปะการังที่น่าสนใจอีกจุดหนึ่งที่ห่างจากฝั่งเพียงแต่ 300 เมตร มีความลึกระดับ 2 เมตร ส่วนชายหาดขาวสะอาดมีความยาวไม่มากนัก และน้ำทะเลใสสุดๆ 

หาดยาว

หาดยาว

เชื่อมต่อกับอ่าวต้นไทร มีลักษณะยาวไม่โค้งเว้าเป็นอ่าว ชายหาดยาวประมาณ 700 เมตร นักท่องเที่ยวชอบเหมาเรือหางยาวมาเที่ยวกันที่นี่ จึงเป็นหาดที่มีความคึกคักไม่น้อย น้ำทะเลใสแจ๋วมีปลาตัวเล็กๆ เยอะมาก และเป็นอีกหาดที่นักท่องเที่ยวนิยมมาพัก

อ่าวโละมูดี

เป็นอ่าวฝั่งตะวันออก สามารถเดินจากหาดยาวมาได้ด้วยทางเชื่อมหาดเล็กๆ ประมาณ 600 เมตรเท่านั้น อ่าวโละมูดีจะมีความสงบเงียบมากกว่าหาดยาว ชายหาดยาวแค่ 400 เมตร  เหมาะกับการมานอนอาบแดด หรือเล่นน้ำ

อ่าวต้นไทร

อ่าวต้นไทร

หรือหน้าหาดเป็นอ่าวที่มีชื่อเสียง นักท่องเที่ยวจะรู้จักกันดี มีท่าเรือที่เป็นจุดจอดเรือที่มาจากกระบี่และภูเก็ต อ่าวต้นไทรจะมีทุกอย่างที่นักท่องเที่ยวต้องการไม่ว่าจะเป็นที่พักราคาถูกไปจนถึงแพง ร้านค้าแหล่งชอปปิ้ง ร้านอาหาร สถานบันเทิง เรียกได้ว่าสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบ หรือใครอยากจะไปหาดไหน ก็มาต่อเรือหางยาวกันที่นี่ ถึงแม้ว่าจะดูคึกคักแต่ชายหาดก็ยังคงมีความสวย ขาวสะอาดตายาวประมาณ 2 กิโลเมตร

อ่าววังหลง

ใครที่ชอบความสงบเงียบ ความเป็นส่วนตัว ต้องการมานอนเล่นอ่านหนังสือสักเล่ม แนะนำให้มาที่นี่ เพราะอ่าววังหลงเป็นอ่าวที่เล็กที่สุดของเกาะพีพี ผู้คนจึงไม่เยอะมากนัก 

อ่าวโละดาลัม

อ่าวโละดาลัม

หรือบางคนเรียกว่าหาดหลัง เพราะว่าอยู่หลังอ่าวต้นไทรมีหาดทรายยาวประมาณ 1 กิโลเมตร อ่าวมีลักษณะโค้งเว้าโอบล้อมไปด้วยขุนเขาทั้ง 2 ด้าน น้ำใสหาดสวยขนาดนี้  นักท่องเที่ยวจึงนิยมมาพักผ่อนกันที่นี่ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นนอนอาบแดด เล่นกิจกรรมทางน้ำ   และหลายคนก็ไม่ลืมถ่ายรูปบรรยากาศที่สวยงามของอ่าวโละดาลัม

อ่าวกาเส็ม 

อ่าวกาเส็ม (เกาะลิง)

เป็นอ่าวขนาดเล็กโค้งเว้า มีชายหาดสีขาวยาว 300 เมตร นักท่องเที่ยวถ้ามาอ่าวโละดาลัมก็มักจะแวะมาที่อ่าวกาเส็มด้วยเสมอ ถ้ามาที่นี่เราจะได้เจอกับฝูงลิงออกมาทักทาย  หลายๆ คนเรียกอ่าวนี้ว่าอ่าวลิง

อ่าวนุ้ย

เป็นอ่าวเล็กๆ ที่ใกล้กับอ่าวโละลานะ ห่างกันเพียงเขากั้น อ่าวนุ้ยมีหาดเล็กยาวเพียง 100 เมตร บรรยากาศสงบเงียบ เหมาะกันการมาเล่นน้ำนั่งพักผ่อน

เป็นอ่าวที่มีความโค้งเว้ามองดูคล้ายๆ เกือกม้า รอบอ่าวซ้ายและขวาโอบล้อมด้วยภูเขา มีชาวหาดเป็นทรายสีขาวละเอียด ยาวประมาณ 500 เมตร หาดค่อยๆ ลาดลง น้ำจึงตื้น แต่ก็มีหินประปราย หาดนี้ไม่มีรีสอร์ท ส่วนใหญ่เป็นที่พักเรือเพื่อเดินทางไปเที่ยว

เกาะต่างๆ

พีพีเล

เกาะพีพีเล มีพื้นที่ 6.6 ตารางกิโลเมตรเท่านั้น หนึ่งในหมู่เกาะพีพี ไม่มีที่พักหรือรีสอร์ท เป็นเกาะที่มีชื่อเสียงไประดับโลก การันตีด้วยอ่าวมาหยาที่เคยมีการถ่ายทำภาพยนตร์ฮอลลีวูดเรื่อง The Beach ทำให้มีชื่อเสียงคนรู้จักกันทั่วโลก รวมไปถึงอ่าวปิเละ และอ่าวโละซามะที่สวยงามจับใจ ใครมาเกาะพีพีก็ต้องมาที่นี่ทุกรายไป งั้นเรามาทำความรู้จักกับ 3 อ่าวนี้กันดีกว่า

อยู่ตอนบนของพีพีเลเป็นอ่าวโค้งเว้าด้านหลังอ่าวชนกับหลังอ่าวมาหยา รอบด้านโอบล้อมไปด้วยหน้าผาสูง ปากทางเข้าอ่าวจะค่อนข้างแคบหน่อย นักท่องเที่ยวนิยมมาที่นี่มากเป็น 1 สถานที่ในโปรแกรมทัวร์เลย น้ำตื้นและใสสะอาดมากแต่บริเวณกลางอ่าวจะลึกซะหน่อยไม่ควรลงเล่นน้ำ  ถ้าอยากเล่นน้ำต้องบริเวณริมอ่าว ที่ก้นอ้าวก็จะมีชายหาดเล็กๆ ไว้ให้ นั่งเล่นนอนเล่นได้ด้วย การเดินทางเข้าออกต้องดูช่วงเวลาน้ำขึ้นลง

เป็นอีก 1 อ่าวที่อยู่ในโปรแกรมทัวร์ดำน้ำ  สำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวที่ชอบการดำน้ำชมปะการังน้ำตื้นที่นี่เหมาะเลยทีเดียว  อ่าวโละซามะอยู่ทางตอนใต้ของพีพีเล สามารถเดินจากอ่าวมาหยามาได้ ไม่ไกลมากนัก

ใครที่ยังไม่เคยมาแต่เพียงได้ยินชื่อ "อ่าวมาหยา" ก็รู้กันดีว่าสวยงามแค่ไหน ลักษณะของอ่าวมาหยาจะโค้งเว้าที่เกิดจากการพังทลายของภูเขาหินปูน จึงเกิดทางเข้าแคบๆ น้ำทะเลไหลเข้าออก ชายหาดยาวประมาณ 250 เมตร ทรายสีขาวละเอียดเมื่อเท้าได้ลองสัมผัสกับทรายจะรู้สึกว่านุ่มราวกับแป้งเด็ก แทบจะโยนรองเท้าทิ้งกันเลยทีเดียว  น้ำทะเลใสสีเขียวมรกต เห็นแล้วต้องลงไปนอนแช่น้ำกันทุกรายไป  ใครมาเกาะพีพี บอกได้คำเดียวว่าต้องมาที่ อ่าวมาหยา ให้ได้

เกาะยูง

เป็นเกาะที่อยู่ทางตอนเหนือของเกาะพีพีดอน ใกล้กับแหลมตง นักท่องเที่ยวที่มาพีพีมักจะแวะเวียนมาเกาะยูงกันเสมอ  ชายหาดจะเป็นโขดหิน แม้ว่าที่เกาะยูงจะไม่มีชายหาดให้เดินเล่น แต่โดดเด่นด้วยกิจกรรมดำน้ำ ทั้งน้ำลึกและน้ำตื้นกับน้ำทะเลใสๆ ปะการังต่างๆ และปลาสีสันสวยๆมากมาย ทำให้นักท่องเที่ยวติดใจกันมานักต่อนัก

ถ้าไปเกาะยูงแล้วก็พลาดไม่ได้ที่จะมาเกาะไผ่ด้วย เพราะอยู่ใกล้กัน เกาะไผ่มีหาดทรายอยู่รอบเกาะ ทรายสีขาวนวลนุ่มละเอียดราวกับผงแป้ง น้ำทะเลที่นี่ค่อนข้างจะตื้นลงไปเดินได้สบายๆ ใครว่ายน้ำไม่เป็นก็ไม่ต้องกลัวว่าจะจม หรืออยากจะดำน้ำแบบสน๊อคเกิลชมปะการังน้ำตื้น ที่นี่จะมีปะการังเขากวางเป็นส่วนมาก ใครอยากจะค้างคืนก็เช่าเต็นท์จากอุทยานได้ ทางอุทยานเค้ามีห้องน้ำ ร้านอาหารไว้บริการ

เกาะบิด๊ะนอก เกาะบิด๊ะใน เป็น 2 เกาะเล็กที่อยู่ทางตอนใต้ของเกาะพีพีเล ทั้ง 2 เกาะนี้ ห่างกัน 2 กิโลเมตร เป็นเกาะเขาหินปูน ถือว่าเป็นสววรรค์ของนักดำน้ำ เพราะที่นี่ก็มีชื่อเสียงในเรื่องดำน้ำอยู่ไม่น้อย ด้วยความลึกระดับ 5-30 เมตร มีทั้งปะการังตามแนวสันเขาใต้น้ำ กองหินปูน กำแพงหินใต้น้ำ ที่ดูวิจิตรตระการตา บางครั้งอาจจะได้เจอ  ฉลามเสือดาว ฉลามครีบดำ กระเบนส้มจุดฟ้า ปลาหิน ปลาทูน่า ปลาโฉมงาม และปลาสากยักษ์

เกาะพีพีนั้นอยู่ใกล้กับภูเก็ตและกระบี่  ดังนั้นการเดินทางไปเกาะพีพี เป้าหมายแรกจึงต้องไปที่ภูเก็ตหรือกระบี่กันก่อนแล้วต่อเรือเฟอรี่หรือสปีดโบ๊ทไปเกาะพีพี

การเดินทางไปภูเก็ตและกระบี่

รถยนต์ส่วนตัว

เริ่มต้นจากกรุงเทพฯ ใช้ทางหลวงหมายเลข 4 ไปทาง เพชรบุรี ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ชุมพร พังงา และ ภูเก็ต ระยะทางรวม 930 กิโลเมตร ใช้เวลาเดินทางประมาณ 10 ชั่วโมง หรืออีกเส้นทาง เมื่อถึงจังหวัดชุมพรให้ใช้ทางหลวงหมายเลข 41 ไปทางอำเภอหลังสวน ไชยา เข้าสุราษฎร์ธานี ไปทางอำเภออ่าวลึก แล้วมุ่งหน้าสู่กระบี่ ระยะทางประมาณ 814 กิโลเตร ประมาณ 9 ชั่วโมง

การเดินทางบนเกาะพีพี

เกาะพีพีเป็นเกาะที่ไม่ใหญ่มากนัก จึงไม่มีรถยนต์ หรือมอเตอร์ไซต์ไว้ให้เช่าเหมือนเกาะอื่น จะมีก็เพียงจักรยานให้ปั่นกันรอบเกาะเท่านั้น หรืออาจมีรถสองแถวอยู่บ้าง ส่วนการเดินทางไปหาดต่างๆ บนเกาะจะเลือกไปทางเรือก็สะดวกเหมือนกัน เรือหางยาวรับจ้างมีอยู่ตลอดชายหาดอ่าวต้นไทรและอ่าวโละดาลัม ราคาก็แตกต่างกันไปตามระยะทาง เริ่มกันตั้งแต่ 100 บาท

Unlike other islands, Koh Phi Phi is only a small island where car and motorcycle rental services are not available. You might be able to hire a bicycle to ride around the island.  You can also travel by minivan or boat to quite a few beaches. Long-tail boats are also available along Ton Sai bay and and Loh Dalam bay. The fare depends on the distance, but the minimum is 100 baht.

Phi Phi Don  It is the largest island among all Phi Phi islands. The quay, resorts, shops restaurants and all the facilities turn this island into a communication hub. Ton Sai bay and Loh Dalum bay are quite famous for their unrivaled scenic beauty.

Laem Tong

On the uppermost of Phi Phi Don, lies an attractive peninsular where the emigrants from Lipe island settled down and formed the first fishing community. Now, the villagers still live in small huts and have a language of their own. 

Loh Ba Gao Bay

This bay has a quiet yet the most beautiful beach which measures 500 m. long and lined with rows of coconut trees, which makes it ideal for a private retreat. Phi Phi Island Village and Spa prominently stands at the front of the beach. Some small resorts can be found in more remote areas.

Pak Nam Beach

A small beach which measures only 300 m. long and is located next to Loh Bakao Bay.

Ran Tee Bay

Only 300 m. from the east of Koh Phi Phi, lies Rantee bay and a small beach with clean white sand and crystal clear blue water of only 2 m. deep. This bay is an excellent site for snorkeling.  

Yao Beach

An elongated beach which measures approximately 700 m. and is adjacent to Ton Sai bay.  Varieties of small fish can be seen through the crystal clear water. The beach is so lively with so many tourists staying here. Long-tail boat service is available.

Loh Mudee Bay

On the east coast lies a quiet small bay with a beach measuring only 400 m. long. It is ideal for swimming and sunbathing. There is a 600 m. walkway joining Loh Mudee bay and Yao beach.

Ton Sai Bay

Ton Sai is a lively bay with a pier where boats and ships from Krabi and Phuket stop, a 2-km. long beach with powder white sand that fringes with crystal clear turquoise water, accommodations for all types of budgets, shops, restaurants, entertainment establishments and all the facilities.  From here, you can take a long-tail boat to many beaches.

Wang Long Bay

One of the smallest and quietest parts of Phi Phi islands, and very little visited, yet it retains its natural and scenic beauty. It is ideal for a private retreat. Reading in this bay’s peaceful surroundings is a wonderful experience.

Loh Dalum Bay is an idyllic, exotic and tropical paradise surrounded by hills on all sides. Its 1 km. long beach which comprises silky soft white sand and turquoise water is visited by many tourists. The activities here include sunbathing, watersports and pictures of scenic beauty.

Yong Kasem is a small deserted tranquil bay located just outside Loh Dalum Bay to the west. It is also known as Monkey beach because it is a large habitat of moneys.

Nui Bay

A small tranquil bay which measures only 100 m. long. It is near and separated from Loh Lana bay only by a hill.  It is perfect for swimming and relaxation.

A horseshoe shaped bay surrounded by hills. It has a powder white sand beach of gradual slop, shallow water and rocks. No resorts are available. Boats sailing to other islands stop here for a break before continuing their journeys.

Phi Phi Leh island Phi Phi Leh is one of the Phi Phi islands. It is a small beautiful island with an area of only 6.6 km2 , with no resorts, yet it has come to worldwide prominence when it was used as a location for the 2000 British-American film The Beach.  People who visit Phi Phi Leh island also visit Pileh bay and Loh Samah Bay which are as beautiful. So we will give you the info on these two bays too.

Pileh bay is located on the back of Chon bay and Maya bay and is surrounded by high cliffs. The water is crystal clear and very clean, but it is rather deep in the middle. The water near the edge of the bay is shallower and more suitable for swimming. At the bottom of the bay there is a small beach where many visitors enjoy swimming and relaxation. As the entrance is quite narrow, it is advisable to check how high the tide is before each entry and exit.

Loh Samah is a famous site for snorkeling and admiring underwater corals. It lies on the south of Phi Phi Leh island within a walking distance from Maya bay.

Maya bay is renowned for its unrivalled idyllic and rustic beauty.  Its entrance is a narrow curve path of 250 m. long with seawater coming in and out as the result of the corrosion of limestone hills. Its powder white soft sand beach that fringes with crystal clear turquoise water is so enticing that any visitors are bound to walk barefoot on the beach and immerse themselves in water for leisure.

Yung island lies on the north of Phi Phi Don island and next to Tong peninsular. It is frequently visited by many tourists from all parts of the world. Although the beach is too rocky to stroll, it has crystal clear shallow water and exotic and colorful fish and corals of wide variety.  It is a superb site for snorkeling.

Those who visit Yung island also visit Bamboo island because it is quite near. The island’s soft powder white sand beach with crystal clear turquoise shallow water is a paradise for snorkeling and admiring staghorn corals. Tents can be hired for overnight stay.  Restaurants and toilets are available in the national park.

Bida Nok Island and Bida Nai Island

Bida Nok island and Bida Nai island are 2 km. apart from each other and lie at some distance off the coast-line. The exotic scenery of the islands is made up of high limestone hills, cliffs surrounded by silvery sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise sea under which a bank of coral reefs and colorful marine lives such as leopard sharks, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, stonefish, tuna, threadfin jack and great barracuda can be seen. Not only are they unrivalled for their natural and scenic beauty, but they are also unrivalled for their diving site with water of 5-30 m. deep.
